Made From Scratch
If you had told seven-year-old me that I'd one day get paid to bring Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters to life, I'd have dropped my Nintendo 64 controller in shock. I grew up obsessed with animation, videogames, and the characters that made them unforgettable. Around that same age, I started acting professionally, appearing in commercials, music videos, and shows like iCarly, Zoey 101, and Ned's Declassified. Before long, my love of performance led me behind the scenes into the world of CG animation.Today, I'm a Senior Visual Effects Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering. For more than eleven years, I've helped create attractions around the globe featuring some of the world's most beloved characters. Recording scratch dialogue for attractions brought me back behind the microphone, reignited my passion for performance, and led to motion capture and voice work for multiple Disney Parks experiences. Somewhere between animating characters and becoming one myself, I found the perfect blend of my creative passions. Voice acting brings everything full circle and I can't imagine a better place to be.
